Soccer
Is Texas Premier SC a team or a class?
Texas Premier SC is a youth sports development program that offers soccer classes for children and kids ages 18mos – 5yrs. Our Premier Skills Classes for youth players ages starting at 5 years to 12 years and we form teams. Both recreational and competitive classes and teams.
Can I choose whether to sign up for 8 weeks or 12 weeks?
Most of Our sessions are 12 weeks and you can join at anytime during a session at a pro-rated price. You cannot join at the beginning of a session and only pay for 8 classes unless it is an 8 week session.
The schedule shows classes on 3 different days, so do I need to go all 3 days?
You pick the one day and time that is best for you and that is the one class you go to each week.
What does it mean on the schedule page “All class times are not actual class”?
We rent space at all the facilities so we can run our program. The times you see offered are times we are trying to get classes running. We need at least 4 kids to start a class, so as long as 4 sign up for the same class we will start it. New classes get started throughout the session as we get new registrations in each week.
I don’t see any class times that work for me, are these my only options?
We would be happy to start a new class time for you as long as you have at least 4 or 5 kids that can commit, so please contact our office. Also, we may already have a couple of kids for the class and just waiting for you to register. We also recommend looking at other facilities in your area as each facility has a different schedule.
What do I need to bring to class each week?
We provide all equipment needed for the class including soccer balls. We recommend bringing something to drink as not all facilities have water fountains.
Do I need to buy shin guards and soccer cleats?
Soccer cleats are not recommended as our classes are always held indoors either on turf fields or gym floors. Shin guards can be worn for ages 4.5 and up but are not required.
How long are the classes?
All Tot Soccer classes run for 50 minutes. Skills classes are 1 hr.
My child will turn 3yrs old in the middle of the session, so can I just sign him/her up for a 3yr old class instead of the 2.5yr old class?
If you are new to the program we recommend doing the class that fits your child’s age at the time you join. The coach can access the ability of the child once the session begins and recommend a higher level class(age group) and you are allowed to move up or down depending on the situation. This applies for all ages and classes.
What happens if we pay for the full session and after 3 weeks my child does not want to go anymore?
Please refer to our Refund Policy under the General Policies.
Baseball
Is Lil’ Sluggers a team or a class?
Lil Sluggers is a youth sports development program that offers baseball “skill building” classes for children 2yrs – 6yrs. We are not a baseball team and we are not in any baseball league.
What does it mean on your registration pages when it says “All class times are not actual classes”
We rent out the space from each facility when run our Lil Sluggers program, and the facility management for each center offers us certain days and times per session to offer our program. If we do NOT have at least 3 kids registered during a time that we offer, the facility can choose to use that time for other facility programs, therefore unless two other children are registered for the class your child is registered for, the class will not “make.”
Are the times offered on each schedule the onl times available for class?
Yes… and no! For individuals those are the only times we offer. If you have a group of at least 3 kids who cannot participate in any times offered, but can all agree on another day and time, you can contact the Lil’ Sluggers director about arranging something with the center to offer that time for your group!
The schedule shows classes on 3 different days, so do I need to go all 3 days?
You pick the one day and time that is best for you and that is the one class you go to each week.
What do I need to bring to class each week?
We provide all equipment needed for the class! We recommend bringing something to drink as not all facilities have water fountains.
What kind of equipment is used? And is it safe?
We use light-weight plastic whiffle ball bats, whiffle balls, rubber tees and bases, and padded sliding mats! We cannot always prevent little accidents, but all equipment is light-weight and we have specific rules for when using the equipment that avoids 99.9% of all minor bumps and bruises!
Do I need to buy a glove and/or baseball cleats?
Baseball cleats are not recommended as our classes are always held indoors either on turf fields or gym floors. Glove training will be introduced as early as 4 years old, but is not a required purchase!
How long are classes?
All Lil’ Sluggers classes run for a minimum of 45 minutes.

Is this a “drop-off” program?
NO! NO! NO! Under no circumstances should children be dropped off and left at the facility for class! Our coaches cannot be held solely responsible for the kids before or after class, nor are they responsible for individual situations during class such as “breakdowns” and potty breaks, as they typically have a full class to coach!

Basketball
Does my child need basketball shoes?
No. Any type of tennis shoe will do. But please no flip-flop, Crocs, or hard sole shoes.
When are the games?
In DunkN’Tots, we do not play basketball games. It is a skills class to teach young kids how to work with their gross motor skills, hand/eye coordination, balance, and having FUN.
What if my child does not like the course?
We understand that sometimes a child just doesn’t like what they are having to do. We ask that you try it for a couple of weeks. If they still do not like the program we will let you change into another of our programs. If that is not acceptable then we will give you a credit for any future program in the Soccer Tots, Lil’ Sluggers, or DunkN’Tots.
Can I try a class before I commit?
Yes, we have a “no-obligation” trial class. You register here on our site and pay the fee for the class. If after the first class, and the first class only, your child does not want to participate, then we will refund you 100%.
What if the class I signed up for did not make?
Sometimes that happens. We offer many different classes and class times at our locations to see what will fit most peoples schedule. In our DunkN’ Tots program we need a minimum of 4 kids to start. If there is not another class available that will work for your time, then we will refund your class fee.
